Introduction!

I have choosen to use the King James Bible, for all these refrences, because it is the purest possible of these ancient texts, in spite of the old english.

Baby Gods in Schoolhouse Earth!

...Ye are god's, and children of the most High...Psm 82:6

Hard to believe that we are gods, just as hard for our newly born babies to imagine that they will ever be anything like the two giants that stare at them above their cradles. These giants are indeed all powerful, immortal, and can do such things as walk, talk, and provide all he needs, which our babies must think they will never be capable of, and yet ....

Beginnings!

Bible verses in blue text are taken from the King James Version of the Bible, from which most modern versions are re-interpretations.
My comments are in white.

Psa 82:6 I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High.

Psa 82:7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.(see also John 10:34-38)

One person told me that in this verse, the referance to 'gods' is meaning that the 'judges' mentioned at the beginning of the verse were 'ACTING' as if they were 'gods', but in John 10:34-38, Jesus appearently took the verse at its face value, the same way I did. Literally!

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

In a sence, the creatures of the Earth are our learning toys, just as Earthly parents watch their children to see that they don't mistreat the living animals, Father God asks us to be good stewards of the Earth.

Gen 1:27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Mat 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made [them] at the beginning made them male and female,

Mat 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

This chapter from Proverbs below, is my favorite. Can't you just feel the 'Love'?

Pro 8:22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

Pro 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

Pro 8:24 When [there were] no depths, I was brought forth; when [there were] no fountains abounding with water.

Isa 40:21 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

Isa 41:4 Who hath wrought and done [it], calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I [am] he.

Isa 48:5 I have even from the beginning declared [it] to thee; before it came to pass I shewed [it] thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.

Isa 48:6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare [it]? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.

Isa 48:7 They are created now,(Man made idols,) and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; ( Idols, ) lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.

Pro 8:25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

Pro 8:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

Pro 8:27 When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

Pro 8:28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

Pro 8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

Pro 8:30 Then I was by him, [as] one brought up [with him]: and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him;

Pro 8:31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights [were] with the sons of men.

Isa 41:4 Who hath wrought and done [it], calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I [am] he.

One of the first qualities of a god would be immortality, being as we each are probably millions of years old, since we have been 'around' before the Earth was created; I would say that we have a pretty good start on immortality.

Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world [men] have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, [what] he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Jer 17:12 A glorious high throne from the beginning [is] the place of our sanctuary.

As His Children, we inherit the 'family busiess', the 'throne' suggests that we rule, and from a high position.

Mar 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

DID GOD CREATE THE WORLD IN SIX DAYS? - Consider ... 2 Pe 3:8 ..

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy.

Jhn 15:27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye ( disciples ) have been with me from the beginning.

The Promise!

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. (Christ is promised!)

Gen 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for AS A PRINCE HAST THOU POWER WITH GOD and with men, and hast prevailed.

2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Luk 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and [to] the evil. Luk 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Luk 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

We seem to be in training for 'god-hood' for the 'throne' we will inherit. Reminds me of a school kindergarten report card 'Plays well with others.' I hope my Father finds me " Playing well with my fellow man."

Our Power!

Mat 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Luk 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Mat 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Jhn 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Jhn 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Jhn 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

Have you ever had an adrenalin rush? My sister 12 and I 10 (many years ago) were enjoying a romp on Grandpa's lake/cabin homestead, we would walk a long dock and get down on hands and knees to climb down a latter and 'mess around' in the lake water up to our chest's. Getting back out of the water was even harder, as our bodies would feel like lead, and we broke the latter more than once even with our kid weight, as we once again got on our knees before pulling ourselfs into a standing position.
We were both 'petrified' of snakes, even if harmless ones.
On this one unforgettable sunny day, we were again chest deep about 2 yards from the dock when we heard a splash and saw a Water Moccasin swimming on the water right towards us. My next memory a second or two later is foot touching the dock right besides my sister, in a running position.
The Water Moccassin is a very fast swimmer, and so poisionus that we would not have made it out of the water had it bit us.
Neither of us could remember a thing from the second we saw the snake to running on the dock.
When we got back with our father, the snake was taking a sun bath on our dock. Thus Dad was able to confirm the breed of snake and access the extreme danger we were in.
After that incident we always had an adult sitting on the dock when we swam.
We never figured out just how we got out of the water so quickly, we seemed to approach the dock from above, as if our guardian angels gave us a lift.

One swimming instructor told me she 'walked' on water when lightening got close, and how many weak little women lifted up early model cars when their loved ones got trapped by the slipping jack, no one ever told them it was impossible, now that it is well known how impossible it is, you men will just have to watch out for the falling jack, your on your own. ha

The bible says,
"As the man thinketh in his heart, so is he". "Thy faith hath made thee whole." "As you have believed so be it."

(Please pardon my spelling, please consider the message, not the words!

Lets consider the human babies, mentioned in the beginning of this website, the babies are now grown up, in earthly terms, and yes, thay do all the things that their parents did, and even greater things, but now the challenge is to look wth doubt and bewilderment at their heavenly parent.

"If ye have faith.." Attempts to gain this faith have been made, consider such books, "Think and grow rich" "The POWER of positive thinking."

FAITH is our next hurdle, but Father God is always there to pick us up if we fall or fail. Death is always before us, literally, but so also is life.
